Products (JAMB e-Registration)

E-Registration for JAMB. This is a portal designed to allow candidates seeking for admission in Nigeria Universites, Polytechnics, Montechnics and Colleges of Education to submit their information to JAMB electronically. It also processes payment from candidates.

JAMB e-registration portal is quite complex, the portal has two major applications running the together - the Brochure and the e-registration.

The bruchure assists candidates to choose their Institutions and courses considering the catchment areas. While e-registration Portal captures candidates information and the passport photograph

  3. Creates Internet forms in a fraction of the time with a point & click Form Designer. Changes to the forms could be made within a short time
  4. Automates the collection and processing of Web forms in HTML or PDF formats. Expensive OMR forms and other paper forms will be eliminated
  5. Eliminates bad data before it gets into your back office applications
  6. Reduces processing errors through computerized automation
  7. Reduces postage errors and returned items
  8. Automatically enforces rules and regulations
  9. Makes application forms available world-wide thereby leading to increase in entries
  10. Gets more out of workflow and knowledge management systems. For example, universities on the Internet could easily have access to the forms online during admission and registration exercises in the university
  11. Eliminates inventories of paper forms with online and printable PDF forms

  12. All the above will lead to reduction in the cost of processing. This means more revenue is available to JAMB to improve its services to the candidates. JAMB will ultimately be the major financial beneficiary of the proposed online registration.
  13. Application forms become very interactive to the candidates. This ensures that the candidates are better advised on their choices interactively.
  14. JAMB will join the leagues of examination boards, universities, and other educational institutions in Nigeria providing online services to the Nigerian students. JAMB will be commended by both the public, government and the universities for this innovation that will bring nearly all JAMB services to the candidates and the universities online.
  15. JAMB will take advantage of our online systems that are very simple and easy to use. The system is not complicated and so JAMB has the required manpower to manage the system. We will train JAMB manpower at all levels to operate the system.
  16. The proposed online system has revenue and registration monitoring modules to enable JAMB monitor both its revenue and registration online and real-time. This will impact positively on JAMB finances. This is the experience of WAEC today.
  17. JAMB will take advantage of special security packages that come with our online and e-commerce applications. These security packages take care of both internal and external security threats. JAMB management could sleep with their two eyes closed when this project is given to us. We register over 1.1 million candidates for WAEC and not one security problem was recorded.
