Increasing the yield with e-Agriculture
Fulfilling the Vision 2020 on agriculture in Nigeria starts with a solution that ensures information dissemination at all levels from the grassroots to policy developments is implemented.
In line with this vision, Sidmach Technologies in conjunction with other regulatory agencies has developed an electronic information bank on everything agriculture in the country known as e-Agriculture Portal. It also introduces investors and other stakeholders to food and agriculture as regards finance, farming, agro-industry, distribution and logistics, as well as food security, nutrition, and consumption.
The National e-Agriculture Web Portal is a strategic initiative of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD), to showcase the essential features and key aspects of food and agricultural industry in Nigeria.
It helps to manage the users, departments, fingerprints and pre-authorization levels.
